What Would Your Perfect Life Look Like?

What Would Your Perfect Life Look Like?

What’s up, everyone!

Before we go any further, I want you to do something for me.

Take a minute and really think about this.

What would your perfect life look like?

Imagine that money wasn’t an issue.

Your bills are paid.

Your family is safe.

You never have to worry about another paycheck.

Now ask yourself…

What does your life actually look like?

Do you have a dream vacation home?

A ranch?

A car you’ve always wanted?

Or is your perfect life more about the people you’re surrounded by?

Would you ever work again?

Or would you go back to work tomorrow because you genuinely love what you do?

I think most people immediately picture exotic vacations, supercars, giant houses, private jets, or whatever that dream purchase might be. And honestly… I’d be lying if I said those things wouldn’t be part of my dream life too.

But here’s the question that really got me thinking…

What happens after the excitement wears off?

What does an ordinary Tuesday look like for someone who has everything?

That question completely changed how I started thinking about my own life.

When I picture my perfect life, I actually don’t think I’m all that far away from it.

Sure, I’d love to own a house, a ranch, a private jet, and probably way too many toys. Those would all be incredible.

But they’re extras.

They’re bonuses.

When I imagine my perfect Tuesday, I picture waking up next to Ashley, my wife. Eventually, I picture hearing my kids laughing and running around the house… preferably laughing and not screaming. 😂

We’d start the day with family prayer, eat breakfast together around the table, and I’d head out to train in my own gym.

I’d still be recording The Project Files every week.

I’d still be writing this blog.

I’d still want to meet amazing people.

I’d still want to help people become healthier, happier, and more confident.

I’d still want to build Project Mind Muscle.

I’d still spend time outside, work on a ranch, coach soccer, create ridiculous videos with my brothers, and end the day surrounded by family and friends.

The more I thought about it, the more I realized something.

Even if money wasn’t an object…

I’d still want to work toward the life I dream of.

Money would simply allow me to enjoy some really fun bonuses along the way.

Because the one thing money can never buy is time.

No matter how many vacations you take, how many toys you own, or how nice your house is, eventually those things become normal.

Time never does.

The moments around the dinner table.

Watching your kids grow up.

Laughing with your spouse.

Talking with your parents.

Messing around with your brothers.

Helping someone change their life.

Those moments are priceless.

Money removes barriers.

It doesn’t automatically create happiness.

Instead of asking yourself…

“How do I become rich?”

Maybe ask yourself…

“What kind of life am I actually trying to build?”

Because if you don’t know the answer to that question…

Will you ever really know if you’ve made it?

That’s the whole reason Project Mind Muscle exists.

I’m not here just to help people get abs or lose ten pounds.

Don’t get me wrong. Those things are awesome.

But that’s never been the end goal.

I want to help people become healthier so they have the energy to chase their dreams.

I want to help people become more confident so they believe in themselves again.

I want to help people become mentally stronger so life’s setbacks don’t define them.

And if I can play even the smallest role in helping someone build the life they’ve always dreamed about for themselves and their family…

Then Project Mind Muscle is doing exactly what it was created to do.

Fitness is a vehicle.

It was never meant to be the destination.

This Week’s Project

This week’s challenge is simple.

Find ten minutes.

No distractions.

No TV.

No phone.

Just you.

Grab a notebook or open the notes app on your phone and answer these questions honestly.

  • If money didn’t matter, where would I live?

  • Who would I spend my time with?

  • What work would I choose to do?

  • What hobbies would I have?

  • What experiences would I regret never having?

  • What kind of parent, spouse, brother, sister, son, daughter, or friend would I become?

Once you’ve answered every question…

Circle one thing.

Then ask yourself one final question.

What’s one step I can take this week to move toward that life?

Not next month.

Not next year.

This week.

Because your dream life isn’t built in one giant leap.

It’s built one decision at a time.

What’s Good?

This week has honestly been a blast.

I was able to get away with my family and some of my best friends for a few days, and it gave me a chance to slow down and think.

I spent a lot of time reflecting on my own goals, the kind of husband and future dad I want to be, the business I’m trying to build, and the life I hope to create.

The truth is…

I have no clue exactly what I’m doing.

But I’ve learned that nobody does when they first start.

The only way to figure things out is to jump in, learn as you go, make mistakes, and keep moving forward.

Whether you succeed or fail, you’re going to learn something.

So don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.

If you have something to say…

Post it.

If you want to start working out…

Start.

If you’ve always wanted to learn about cars…

Learn.

If you’ve been dreaming about starting a business…

Take the first step.

One thing I noticed while thinking about my perfect life was this…

No matter what dream I imagined…

No matter what house I lived in…

No matter where I traveled…

My family was always there.

If I had all the money in the world but didn’t have the people I love…

I wouldn’t be living my perfect life.

Remember…

The world doesn’t need the perfect you.

It needs the real you.

Still trying.

Still growing.

Still smiling.

I love you all.

Thank you for following along on this journey.

I’ll catch you next week.
